How I got into building sunrooms
I came to building later in life, after years in another line of work. I learned the trade working beside an experienced sunroom installer, and in 2020 I started Twentynine Palms Sunrooms & Patios here in Twentynine Palms. I'm curious by nature, so I like the jobs with a puzzle in them, like an odd roofline, an old deck or a slab that meets the house in a strange spot.
Most of our calls come from homeowners here and in the cities around us who want more room they can actually use. What I care about most is getting the big decisions settled on paper before we build anything, because those are the ones that cost the most to change later. I'd rather ask one more question at your kitchen table than guess at what you want, so the room we build looks and works like it belongs to your house. We figure out the room before we price it
We start by asking how you'll use the space, whether that's a sitting room you want year-round or a screened spot for cool evenings. That way you pay for a room you'll use, not a guess.
We check the base and the tie-in first
I come out myself to measure and look at what the room will sit on and the wall it joins before any design is set. That's where these jobs usually go wrong, so it's the first thing we settle.
A plain estimate, and one person to talk to
Your estimate is written in plain words and shows what's included and what isn't, so you can compare it fairly with other quotes. Our crew builds the room, and you talk with me from the first visit to the final walkthrough.

City business license for permit work
The City of Twentynine Palms requires any contractor who requests a permit or submits plans to hold a city business license, so it's a fair question to ask anyone you're comparing. Where a job calls for a permit, we prepare the plans, file them with the office that covers your address and handle the inspections, which in Twentynine Palms is the city's Building and Safety Division.
